How to Fix a Streaky Tan
 I tried to bronze myself with Mystic Tan's self-tanning spray and ended up with stripes down the backs of my legs. How can I get rid of them?

Forget enjoying a streak-free, natural-looking tan if you're sporting racing stripes down your legs. "That's a common mistake," celebrity makeup artist Dee-Dee Marcelli says. "A lot of people either don't exfoliate properly or they use a moisturizer right before they self-tan. Many moisturizers contain mineral oil, which causes the product to streak and become blotchy."
The good news? There are a number of helpful methods that will instantly even out your tan. "You can rub the area with a lemon (or lemon juice) or hydrogen peroxide. If you don't have these in the house, you can even spray a little Windex on a paper towel and softly buff until you even out the coloring."
